BUSY FEW MONTHS

Its been a very busy few months for Metalica Uk who have been touring up and down the country performing festivals, theatres and high profile venues.
In august they played the infamous Bulldog Bash (Europes largest Biker festival in the Uk) to a very impressed audience of around 18000 people a lot of which had travelled across the globe.After doing this they have since been spotted by one of the largest events companies in the Uk and are now set to travel on numerous overseas tours in the New year.

The Metalica Uk guys have also overwhelmed huge audiences in Wales, Weymouth, Essex, Oxford, swindon, the East coast, Grimsby & Notts, not to mention some of their closer to home shows in Wakefield, Bradford, Leeds, Sheffield & Barnsley. Unfortunately 2 dates in Dundee & Glasgow had to be posponed in October but the guys will be returning in the new year.

However Scotland were still given the full on Metallica Experience last weekend when the guys descended on Inverness playing the mighty Ironworks venue where they played on a stage which in the past has seen bands such as Sepultura and Enter Shakari perform. Playing to a packed house of metallica fans Metalica Uk delivered another of their explosive sets in the authentic and energetic way they are renowned for, giving the audience exactly what they expected, and since their return the guys have been in-undated with messages of praise.

The remainder of this years dates will be played out over the next few weeks as the band travel to Bury,Kettering, Whitwell & Grimsby before taking a short break over xmas before preparing to take the Uk & Abroad by storm yet again in 2010.

SCOTTISH TOUR
Unfortunately due to circumstances beyond our control the Scottish tour on the 2nd & 3rd Oct have had to be postponed. We realise this has been a huge disappointment to people who planned on seeing Metalica Uk in Dundee & Glasgow due to the volume of emails we have received and for this we sincerely apologise. However Metalica Uk will be playing at The Ironworks in Inverness on the 21st November and are hoping to re-schedule the Dundee show around then. We will however be re-scheduling the show at Glasgow Uni for after xmas early next year.

09/07/2009 -

The Metalica UK guys will be playing a Charity Bikers Festival at the social Centre in Creswell on sat 11th July with all proceeds going to the Yorkshire & Lincs Air Ambulance service, this is one of many Charity events that Metalica UK give up their time & Fee to play and so i hope as many of you as possible will come along and support this event for a great cause.
The next few weeks will see them heading off to play in Stoke-on-Trent, Weymouth, Bridlington & Middlesborough and not forgetting the mighty BULLDOG BASH of course in Warwickshire in August.
They will be taking a 2 week break back end Aug before preparing for another tour of the Highlands!!! Yes the guys are climbing further back up North to Scotland once again to complete another Tour in Dundee, Glasgow and Aberdeen with hopefully Elgin and Inverness to be confirmed so keep your eye on the website!!!!!!

Just to announce that Metalica Uk WILL be playing on the mainstage of this years infamous BULLDOG BASH!!!!!
They will be playing on the opening night of the Festival on Thurs 6th Aug.
This is the uk's biggest & most famous Biker Festival so the guys feel very privalidged to be asked to play. So make sure you can make it there on the 6th!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wooohooo!!!! Metalica Uk have been very busy last few months whizzing around here there and everywhere! Playing some awesome shows including Grimsby,Mansfield,Selby,Wakefield,Bury & Blackpool they are set to play another home coming gig at The polish Club in Barnsley this coming saturday (28th march) and after the last show there am sure its gonna be just as amazing. Especially as there will be an exceptional lighting show with our good friend Pete and Karl on the buttons!!!
Over the next few weeks they will be heading off to Oxford, Crewe, Nottingham, Bradford and Bristol to deliver some mighty shows before gearing up to take the famous Frontier Club at Batley by storm!! The guys will be performing this famous venue on 7th may, tickets are available from their box office (01924 442122)or will be available on the door on the night.
We are also in negotiations regarding playing the infamous Bulldog Bash this year with more details to follow at a later date so watch this space!!
As always a MASSIVE thanks to all the nutters we meet at our shows am sure we will be bumping into you all sometime soon!!

The guys have returned from their 2nd turkish Tour after a massive 5 show success.Playing continuously for 5 days on the trot and travelling hundreds of miles between shows the people of this country were not left disappointed.As goes without saying the band played true to form delivering a powerful and energetic show at each city they played.The expolsive performance they gave at each venue just went to re-enforce the reason that Metalica Uk are chosen to represent the gods of metal.As usual the fans went ballistic from the on-set setting the precident for the entire tour leaving in their trail a whirlwind of moshpits,metal Hair & sweat!!!! Rest assured people of Turkey Metalica Uk are set to return in 2009!!!!

Turkish tour no2 coming up!!
Metalica uk are about to embark on their 2nd tour of Turkey this year due to popular demand. The guys are to return in Dec where they will play 5 dates this time and if the tour bus wasn't enough last time this time they are gonna literally be jetting between some of the destinations!! proper rock n roll stuff eh?! The crowds in every venue were crazy and packed each show last time with total sell outs of tickets everywhere, so this time, well the venues are even bigger(is this possible??)so the guys are looking forward to it big time, and with the band now at its best they're gonna treat the Turkish fans even more so this time with their fantastic line-up and send shock waves across the entire of Turkey!!!

FANTASTIC HOME-COMING!!!!!!!!!

After playing all over the country for some time now Metalica Uk played a fantastic home-coming show at the Polish Club Barnsley on saturday (15th nov) to an unbelievebly packed out venue. There was nowhere left to stand in the entire place and even the other room had to be used for the overspill!!! Straight from the off set the guys had the room in the palm of their hands as they played through an explosive set of Metallica classics, whipping up yet another frenzied pit upfront and just about at the back too!!! With people having no room to stand they went up on to the chairs and mosh they did!!! This was a great night for all concerned and a great welcome home gig so a massive thanks to everyone who came along

WHEREVER WE MAY ROAM......
METALICA UK are all set to hit Scotland this weekend for a 3 day tour (see tour dates for details @ www.metalicauk.co.uk) then its back to England for two shows, the first one being the SUTTON ARMS, rock venue, Kidderminster. Then METALICA UK (finally) come home to see all our friends in Barnsley to play THE POLISH ROCK & BLUES CLUB Summer lane (get the beers flowing.) Then it’s over to Turkey for a 4 day tour of the Middle East & Europe starting in Ankara then Eskisehir, Izmir and Istanbul venues to be confirmed.

Well Well Well!!!! Metalica uk played an explosive set over at Yardbirds in Grimsby last sat cramming them in even at short notice. The set was one of the best and never ending!! I do hope the young lady who fell into the glass is ok!!!
Over to Crewe on sunday and this was a quieter night but still the place was exposed to a full on tribute to Metallica at its best. We will be returning in the near future on a saturday to totally bring the place down. Big thanks to Semblance for supporting us that night and travelling all that way & back on a sunday, their set was as ever, awesome.

Over to the seaside this sat (26th july) when the guys intend to blow the metalness out of the sea at Western-super-mare!!! They will be making their debut at Hobbits. Personally i'm looking forward to finding donkeys, large ones for a number of reasons.

18/07/2008 - Emma Denman (Manager)

The guys are off to play a last minute show back at Yardbirds Grimsby this sat (19th july) then its off to thrash the hell out of metallica fans at the Limelight in Crewe on Sunday.

We have just secured a Scottish tour for the 31st oct,1st & 2nd nov where we will be making our way to Edinburgh, Dundee and Glasgow. We have had loads of Metallica fans asking when we will be playing Scotland so there you have it guys!! Exciting stuff see tour list for more info.

The guys have recently well and truely nailed some good venues and there are still some new up and coming ones.
They supported Saxon last weekend at Potters and will be in the Manchester area soon as well as western-super-mare next week (26th)

Apologies for a brief write-up this time but me damn necks gone again and i can hardly lift it to look at the screen lol!! (and no its not through too much moshin!)

Tickets for the gig at Lady Margaret Hall in Worksop on sat 28th June they are £5 in advance by calling 01909476034 or £7 on the door.
Camping is available on the night with a charge of £5 per unit (ie per tent etc) Hope to see plenty of you guys there!!!

The guys are hitting new territory on sat 21st june when they head over to Bury and play the Hark 2 Towler so hoping to pick up some new fans along the way and impress them with their show!!
The week after on the 28th june Metalica.uk return to Worksop and once again are hoping to wow the audience at the Lady Margaret Hall. I am lead to believe there is also camping available so if you fancy making a night of it get yourselves there!!!!!

Hi u guys!! Finally an update on here!!! We apolagize for the delay in updating the website unfortunately our website was maliciously deleted from the database and its taken a while to get things properly sorted, but hey what the hell try as these people might you just can't keep a good band down!!! The band would also just like to take this opportunity to thank all the people,bands, fans and venues for there overwhelming support recently we are all blown away at how much u think of us and it is very humbling that u all took the time out to let us know. Putting aside recent childish events there are plenty of new up coming dates to be confirmed throughout the country and i am just awaiting confirmation of a couple of tours in Holland and Germany so watch this space!!!
There will also be a seperate low down on our recent tour of Turkey alongside some pics etc. Our gallery is in the process of being re-vamped and we are pleased to welcome back on board 'Jamie' on bass after a few months away.
The Metalica UK guys have been busy recently playing new venues aswell as familiar ones, still packing in the crowds and delivering as ever the full Metallica experience. We prefer to let the fans decide how good they are and boy oh boy do they love it!!!
So back in Rick and Sam's hometown this saturday (17th may) at the Polish club in Barnsley for another chaotic metal night so see u there!!!
